Many of the X700 clones come with a red dot laser attached to the side of the laser head. The problem with this setup is that it only points to where the laser will hit when the table is at a specific height. This is because the red dot laser is at an angle. There are a couple possible solutions to this. One is to put a beam combiner that will allow a red dot laser to travel the same path as the CO2 laser. Another solution is to use a cross-hair consisting of two line lasers.
